FALL 2020 PROGRAMS SUSPENDED

Attention all Members of the Woodbridge Figure Skating Club,

Due to COVID-19 rising cases, and surrounding area lockdowns, we are unable to run our CanSkate, Bridge and StarSkate programs at this time. Recent indoor restrictions with limited numbers as well as no spectator/parents allowance have made it very difficult for us to provide programs. With so much uncertainty, as well as restrictions, we have no choice but to suspend all programs effective immediately.

This decision was not an easy one to make as we see how important physical activity and organized sports are for all age groups. Unfortunately, with capacity numbers being reduced to 10 (inclusive of all coaches and skaters) and as spectators (parents/guardians) are no longer permitted inside the building, it is not feasible to continue to operate our programs at this time.

Members are asked to check your email inboxes for information on program credits on Uplifter that will be updated by the end of next week. We will continue to work closely with Skate Ontario and York Region to communicate updates as soon as these become available. Please stay tuned for further details and again we ask for your patience while we work through this together.

We wish all our members a very happy and safe holiday season and we look forward to seeing you on the ice in the new year.
